The second season of the highly successful TV Land original series “High School Reunion” is set to premiere in TV Land PRIME on Wednesday, February 18th, 2009, at 10:00pm ET/PT. Nineteen classmates from the 1988 graduating class of Arizona’s Chandler High School have been brought together for their own special reunion set on an exotic and romantic Kauai estate to rekindle old relationships, reveal long-held secrets and resolve deep-seated issues from 20 years ago in this eight-part reality series. “High School Reunion” is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television.

This season’s “High School Reunion” is full of controversy, tension and romance as the classmates grapple with unrequited love, adolescent embarrassments and broken friendships. Viewers will watch as “The Outcast” struggles with her emotions when a scandalous secret comes to light; see “The Troublemaker” step over a dangerous line; and follow “The Ugly Duckling,” now a voluptuous Playboy model, as she seeks approval of unforgiving classmates, among other happenings.
TVLandPrime.com users will be able to enjoy full episodes online the day after the episodes air; exclusive sneak peeks and extended and deleted scenes; behind-the-scenes photos and video taken by the cast; and weekly blogs from cast members. Users can also go online to play free, exclusive viral games such as “My 80’s Self” -- in which participants can upload photos and transform themselves into '80s icons -- and “High School Volleyball,” where contestants can test their volleyball skills in real time against other online gamers, available beginning February 18.
The previous season of “High School Reunion” on TV Land debuted on the network in March 2008 and enjoyed great ratings success among the channel’s target demo of Adults 25-54 and core audience of Adults 40-54. During the first season, “High School Reunion” averaged 821,000 total viewers, up +89% over the same time period last year with a median age of 45. Among A25-54, it posted a 0.5/487,000, up +147% in rating and +152% in delivery versus the previous year. Among A40-54, the series averaged a 0.5/275,000, an increase of +92% in rating and +96% in delivery over YAGO. “High School Reunion” drove TVLand.com to one of its best months ever in April 2008, launching video users to a +135% increase while streams were up a strong +246%. The series drove Time Spent to its best month, displaying +184% over YAGO levels, and traffic was up +65% over the previous year.
